RISK FACTORS
- Blood transfusion before 1992
- Hemodialysis
- Exposure to blood as a healthcare worker or member of the military
- Tatoos or body piercing (due to potentially contaminated needles or ink)
- IV drug use (even just once)
- Snorting cocain or other drugs (due to blood on shared straw or bill)
- Sharing a razor, toothbrush or any item that could carry infected blood
- Unprotected sex w/multiple partners or history of STD's
