RISK FACTORS

• Blood transfusion before 1992
• Hemodialysis
• Exposure to blood as a healthcare worker or member of the military
• Tatoos or body piercing (due to potentially contaminated needles or ink)
• IV drug use (even just once)
• Snorting cocain or other drugs (due to blood on shared straw or bill)
• Sharing a razor, toothbrush or any item that could carry infected blood
• Unprotected sex w/multiple partners or history of STD's
